Summary

Located west of the BYU and Mt. Timpanogos, the design team found inspiration for this building from the natural environment.

Designed to infuse the human experience with a connection to nature, the design creates a sense of place with the building materials and building forms to mimic the natural forms of Mt. Timpanogos.  Transparency is created in the design with a glass entry and stair tower.  A band of cementitious panels on portions of the building imitate the granite outcroppings on Mt. Timpanogos.

Emphasizing the symbiotic relationship of nature, the interior space has a distinct flow and openness responding to the goals of member movement through the space and creating a safe, secure environment.
